The ORA device is attached to the surgical microscope and utilizes intraoperative wavefront aberrometry to measure the refractive power of the eye after the cataract is removed.

ORA provides an on-demand power calculation to ensure proper lens replacement power, lens placement in the eye, and/or the determination of the magnitude and direction of the astigmatism.
